Celebrating Makarsankranti with High Spirits and Higher Kites at smartData Nagpur
We know that great work doesn’t just come from deadlines and dedication. It also comes from a culture where people feel connected, inspired, and energised. That spirit came to life on 14 January 2025, when our Nagpur office celebrated Makarsankranti with a colourful, laughter-filled kite flying competition in our Vatika garden.
With kites in hand and smiles all around, colleagues gathered on the lawn, ready for a bit of friendly competition and a lot of fun. The day wasn’t just about flying kites — it was about stepping away from the everyday routine, spending time together, and creating memories that strengthen the bonds we share at work.
As kites soared into the sky, so did the energy. Every successful lift-off, every playful challenge, every moment of cheering from the sidelines brought people together in a way that felt effortless and authentic. There was joy, a bit of rivalry, and plenty of light-hearted banter — the kind of interaction that reminds us why culture matters as much as strategy.
The celebration also came with a taste of tradition. Everyone enjoyed seasonal favourites like tilgul, chikki, and pithla bhakri, treats that brought a bit of home into the workplace. Sharing food, like flying kites, created a simple but meaningful sense of connection across teams.
Makarsankranti at smartData was a moment to pause, recharge, and celebrate who we are as a team — one that works hard, supports one another, and knows how to enjoy the journey along the way.
As we look ahead, we carry this spirit with us. Because when we take time to celebrate and connect, we’re not just building a better workplace, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant team.
Here’s to more days like this, and to flying even higher together.
