Lockdown brought smarTians face to face with the unknown. The way operations have continued for over 100 days is a testimony to precise planning, continuous monitoring, and exemplary hard work and dedication towards work and the associated livelihood. Video conferencing has helped. The water cooler talks have been replaced with virtual settings. There have been numerous talk sessions and video conferences for the last three months. The calls have been both formal settings to discuss work and informal off work conversations. This has been a great way of conversing with people and knowing how they are doing in these heightened state of anxiety due to pandemic & offering help and support and solace in any way possible. Pre-Diwali Bash
Enjoy the festivities in a true style together; smarTians expressed their enthusiasm, excitement, and pleasure at the magnificent and bedazzling pre-Diwali bash with their families during the festive season. Dressed up in their festive best and soaked in the spirit of Diwali, the evening was packed with bright lights and much brighter smiles.
Bhadraj Temple Peak Trek
Trekking and traveling add a new spark to one’s life. It tells you to calm down, relax, and take in more of your surroundings, among other life lessons. Keeping in line with our smarTian spirit of learning through adventures, a 25 km, 8000ft trek to Bhadraj temple peak was initiated by our CEO at Dehradun branch in which a total of 8 smarTians actively participated.

smartConnect 2020
The smartConnect program initiated in August by our CEO is an initiative focusing on remote connects with smarTians to know about their and their family’s well-being and get them familiar with the upcoming growth opportunities. The group conversation as part of smartConnect program ensured a constant connection irrespective of diverse work environments. smarTians have availed this opportunity to connect with their leaders and teams also.
The mobile app is intended to capture datasets of patient-related data (mental and physical health) through which good adherence and behaviours are rewarded through different stakeholders. It motivates patients to take control of their physical and mental health and rewards for healthy habits. It is targeted for chronic patients (users that needs medications for prolonged periods of time). A raffle system is implemented, where patients can redeem points in the virtual store to buy products they or their family members needs, free of charge.
This project involves the development of a user-centric platform dedicated to delivering alternative medicine services through a well-coordinated team of in-house healthcare providers. The system will serve as a centralized hub for users seeking alternative treatment options, providing them with direct access to qualified practitioners and a range of healthcare services.
We shaped a brand that emanates knowledge. A platform where questions are asked, answered, edited, and organized by its community of users in the form of opinions. All questions and answers posted on can be rated by users which results in a helpful, well rated Q-and-A threads that are highlighted and appear more frequently in users feeds. Additionally, the comment function allows users to participate or discuss the topic of the post.
The application is developed for a personalized confectionery company operating in Australia since 2008 which aims to provide its customers' personalized chocolates/labels for their different occasions, events via high-end designs, flexible customizations and quality products with ease of delivery. Our team was involved to build an in-house CRM, artwork management and order management portal named “Charlie” for the client. Initially, the client was managing all this via different 3rd party applications but we developed a single system to manage all these activities. Orders in the application come from 3 different websites which client has along with few offline orders too. Our aim was to streamline this whole order management, artwork management process and give admin ease to give its customers a smooth service. We developed a CRM and artwork approval system including web forms to accept leads. The application allows us to pull data from Insightly CRM which the customer had been using for order management. Complete artwork management portal has been developed which allows customers to view their current artwork status and also send reminders to customers for approval on artwork so that once approved work can be sent for further order processing. Key functionality here was of tag and status management (similar to what ship station API does) where different tags/status of the order were managed and corresponding updates via email were sent to customers to keep them updated. Once artwork is approved, then order is processed and we have done integration with the “Dear Inventory” system to manage all the inventory and XERO API was integrated for invoice management.
Our objective is to develop a robust online portal that streamlines compliance reporting for businesses, ensuring they meet their financial and regulatory obligations efficiently and accurately. By providing a user-friendly platform, we aim to simplify complex compliance processes, reduce the risk of errors, and enhance transparency in reporting. The portal will support various regulatory frameworks and adapt to evolving compliance requirements, offering businesses a reliable solution to manage and track their reporting obligations.
It is an open rating platform on which buyers of marine fuel bunkers can rate the suppliers and the vessels supplying the receiving vessels. It brings in possibility for shipowners to search for the best performing bunker barges, suppliers and traders in a specific area all over the world. The shipping industry is very traditional industry with very less technological tools being used and hence there is less transparency. Most shipowners in this very traditional industry are struggling with their marine fuel deliveries, as it is very easy for the suppliers and delivery vessels to give them low quality fuel which gradually effects the vessel life. Bunker trust is not only ratings and reviews platform, infact it captures timings, quantities, quantities and compare all these parameters with the market prices and benchmark those against the market.
The bunkering process is validated via algorithm, where a confirmation is sent to the receiving vessel. On the date of bunker delivery, a rating questionnaire is sent to the vessel, which they can complete online on the platform or off-line in a special form. Also, we have integrated Marine Traffic API to ensure that the receiving vessel actually came to close vicinity of Bunker for the required operations. These validations ensure that the right ratings are given and no fake listings are there. The system works as an integration platform that can be integrated with various other shipping platforms like ERP systems, Bunker purchasing systems. Other parameters captured by the system include - best supplier, the best bunker barge, the most efficient port and the highest quality deliveries. The application currently has 35 registered shipowners/operators, about 400 rating vessels, almost 4,000 ratings and about 1,000 suppliers/traders in. Currently the system is free to use for shipowners and operators to use. Along with providing transparency for the shipping industry, application provides lot of intelligence where tools like PowerBI are implemented to draw analytics which helps in further informed decision making.
