Lockdown brought smarTians face to face with the unknown. The way operations have continued for over 100 days is a testimony to precise planning, continuous monitoring, and exemplary hard work and dedication towards work and the associated livelihood. Video conferencing has helped. The water cooler talks have been replaced with virtual settings. There have been numerous talk sessions and video conferences for the last three months. The calls have been both formal settings to discuss work and informal off work conversations. This has been a great way of conversing with people and knowing how they are doing in these heightened state of anxiety due to pandemic & offering help and support and solace in any way possible. Some of the continued efforts by the different group which requires mention are given below :-
Face to Face interactions enhances the team’s culture, productivity & efficiency. By taking precautionary measures at each location Normalcy Begins at smartData from 18th January with a 40-50 percent occupancy. Government guidelines have been followed to ensure the safety of the smarTians. Office premises thoroughly sanitized and proper seating pattern observed with social distancing to provide round the clock connectivity and workforce to our clients.
The smartData cultural league “Abhivyakti” was launched remotely – another “new” in this new normal. The auditions started in May and, even as first of its kind, there was a lot of creativity in this event. Winners of SCL has been awarded during Republic Day celebrations. All 11 finalists was recognized and rewarded for their amazing performances.
The day India was formed as a republic is always a proud day for us. As Normalcy begins republic day celebrated across all three locations where all smarTians joined with their families for the flag hosting ceremony followed by sweet distribution on this very occasion. Live performances also given by smarTians to pay tribute to our nation.
Makar Sankranti is one of the few traditional Hindu festivals that is observed as per solar cycles. The season marks the end of winter and the beginning of longer days. smarTians welcomed this auspicious season and celebrated this day with a traditional filling the sky with colorful kites and sharing their happiness and joy among all.
Lohri, celebration with smarTians is commemorated every year on 13th January with utmost enthusiasm. This energizing event was commended with extreme respect, gladness and loftiness beginning with customs and further with small bonfire, a social affair and music where smarTians danced their heart out. Also appreciated smarTians with gifts who helped smartData directly or indirectly in COVID period.
We feel responsible for our neighbourhood and want to make a positive impact on the world. Organic farming at our new facility in Mohali is a small initiative by our office staff during WFH in reducing the carbon footprint. Our drive has affected not only our environment, but has also influenced local communities and brought with itself many other more complex benefits.

The application provides cloud data sharing capability to windows based dental application. It works on client local environment and application as a plugin helps syncing unique data securely with the cloud database. This is a standalone plugin having no dependency or customization required with the Dentrix environment, plugin can be installed easily and can directly point towards Dentrix. : Televisit is and application in which user (patient) can search the doctor as per the Specialties and book an Appointment for himself or for the dependent with the doctor according to the availability. The patient can make the appointment in both ways either Televisit or In Person. The payment mode will be credit card or the patient can also pay by Insurance.
T the Doctor/ Provider end, Provider can create or register himself on the plaform by using the NPI Id and then add his/her schedule for In-person and Televisit separately. Provider can also create televisit for a particualr patient who has already seen him. Moreover provider can generate superbill for the patient appointment and also, make changes into the medical forms sent by the patient for approval.
- Patient can search for the doctor and chek Doctor’s detailed profile and past treatment ratings.
- Patient can upload the images of their medical forms and send it to their provider for approval.
