Lockdown brought smarTians face to face with the unknown. The way operations have continued for over 100 days is a testimony to precise planning, continuous monitoring, and exemplary hard work and dedication towards work and the associated livelihood. Video conferencing has helped. The water cooler talks have been replaced with virtual settings. There have been numerous talk sessions and video conferences for the last three months. The calls have been both formal settings to discuss work and informal off work conversations. This has been a great way of conversing with people and knowing how they are doing in these heightened state of anxiety due to pandemic & offering help and support and solace in any way possible. A tele consultation platform facilitating people's access to medical care that connects patients with healthcare providers.  Platform will be targeting to Burkina Faso country and will be developed in 2 languages English and French. This will be a one stop shop solution helping patients in their medical needs - right from searching for a best suitable practitioner, booking an appointment (video consultation / physical / home visit), receive e-prescriptions and Order medications to their suitable selected pharmacies.

This platform also allows patients / practitioners /Hospitals/ pharmacies for the electronic preparation of medical claim forms and their direct transmission to insurance providers. Consultations here on this platform can either be self-paid or via insurance, claims will be submitted via this platform and after manual reviews by insurance team, it will be processed outside.

Platform will have both subscription-based model for different services providers enrolled in this platform along with a small % fee on each of the transaction that happens through this platform.
