Business Development Consultant- USA
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
6 to 15 years of relevant IT sales and/or consulting experience, exposure to selling digital solutions and experience in running complex, enterprise sales processes
Should have prior experience achieving a target of 500k to 1M USD.
The candidate needs to work closely with the CEO and VPs to discuss identified opportunities, and client/project oversight, and provide resolution to escalated customer complaints.
Understanding of IT consulting landscape with a good Rolodex
Must have a proven track record of success in achieving targets assigned $500k to 1M annually
Excellent communicator
Good selling business acumen, business technologies experience
Solutions-oriented mindset and skilled in prospecting into new clients and new buyers
Understanding of GCP/AWS/Azure cloud for healthcare, fintech, supply chain, B2B2C application development, maintenance and support
Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Ability to travel up to 50% annually within and outside of the US
Prior experience with offshore dev is a plus
Part-time or full-time positions can be considered
Maintain and up-sell existing clients with product enhancements, new products, and new services
This role requires advanced experience in Sales & Relationship Management.
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience selling in US healthcare and enterprise business
- Preferably, the applicant should have exposure to formal sales methodologies, previous Sales training, and experience with the solution, consultative, strategic, and/or conceptual selling
- 6+ years of knowledge around modern technology stacks such as .Net core, React.js, Python, AI/ML, and more
